MCB announces key appointments to its Leadership Team

MCB is pleased to announce strategic appointments to its Leadership Team, effective 1st July 2024. The aim is to reinforce MCB’s commitment to operational excellence and achieve its strategic objectives.

Bernard Jackson is appointed Head of Retail. With solid experience acquired in The Seychelles, Bernard will play a leading role in the development of our Retail sector.

Abraham Rawat becomes Head of Banking Operations. Drawing on his many years of experience at MCB, Abraham will lead significant transformation initiatives aimed at optimizing our operational performance. 

Désiré Léo becomes MCB Seychelles’ Managing Director. His business acumen and professional background within MCB will be essential assets in taking our operations in Seychelles to new heights.

Anju Unrowsing-Ramtohul is appointed Head of Domestic Banking. As head of both the Retail and Business Banking activities in Mauritius, Anju will leverage her banking expertise and in-depth knowledge of the local market. She will also join the bank's management committee, strengthening our leadership in these key sectors.

Dominic Provençal is appointed Head of Overseas and Para Banking Subsidiaries. His entrepreneurial skills and extensive banking experience will be a definite advantage in this crucial role as we continue to grow our regional presence.

Pamela Chan becomes Head of Business Banking. With her background in Retail and Payments Operations, Pamela will bring her banking expertise and business acumen to our SMEs. The date of her entry into office, as well as in the Leadership Team, will be communicated at a later stage.
