How to pay with your phone using MCB Juice Tap

Imagine leaving your wallet at home and still being ready to pay anywhere. That’s the ease of using your digital card in MCB Juice. It’s quick to set up, secure to use, and designed to make everyday transactions more convenient.

1. Start by digitalising your card 💳

Step 1. Open the MCB Juice app.

Step 2. Choose the 'Cards' section.

Step 3. Select your preferred card to digitalise.

Step 4. Choose the option 'create a digital card' on the app.

Step 5. You will receive a 'Success' message.

Step 6. Upon activation, you will receive a notification via the MCB Juice app that your card is ready to use.

Step 7. Set 'MCB Juice' as your default wallet (NFC App) on your device.
Go to Settings > Connection & Sharing > NFC

📌 The option to digitalise a card is only available for Androids and Huawei. All cards can be digitalised except Visa Debit cards

2. How to make a Tap payment with your digital card 💳

There are two ways to pay with a digital card:

Direct Payments (No Internet connection required):

1. Unlock your phone using the unlock mechanism (Face recognition or Fingerprint)
2. Hold your phone near the payment machine.
3. The digital card that you selected as default payment card on MCB Juice will be used.
4. You will receive a success message.

Within MCB Juice (Internet connection required) 🛜

1. Open MCB Juice and navigate to the digital card section.
2. Select your preferred digital card
3. Click on the ‘Tap to Pay’ option.
4. Hold your phone near the payment terminal to complete the payment.
