Capture your face via the Juice app.
Your face is matched with your identification document (ID).
Next time you log in, just look at your mobile device - no passwords needed.
At MCB, we take security seriously. Here’s how we protect your biometric data:
Your face data is converted into a secure digital key that cannot be reverse-engineered.
We never sell, store, or share your biometrics with advertisers or external companies.
We follow global banking security standards (GDPR, local data protection laws).
Unlike passwords, biometrics can’t be stolen or guessed. Your face stays yours.
Identity proofing is a process that allows anyone wishing to install and use MCB Juice to access it through identity verification. This verification relies on comparing (matching) a selfie photo with the photo on an ID card or passport.
To combat evolving fraud tactics being adopted by fraudsters, we are aiming to provide additional protection to safeguard the best interests of our clients, in addition to previous protections (such as registration by bank card).
MCB works with an international partner, namely Jumio, with rare expertise in identity verification procedures. This expert works with major financial groups and was selected after a very strict process. Biometric data is used solely to establish a digital identity, which is only used for accessing our digital channels.
No, they are only used by MCB and its partner Jumio for authentication purposes during your registration on MCB Juice, to confirm the user's identity and secure the application. They are not used for any other activities, and access is restricted and secured. It is worth noting that Jumio operates in several jurisdictions and complies with all laws related to the use and management of personal data.
MCB scrupulously respects all laws in force regarding the management of personal data, and this is the case for identity proofing, which has been validated by the Data Protection Office (DPO). It is worth noting that our partner, Jumio, is also certified in data protection (including ISO 27001 certification).
